As we expand our operations, we are seeking a commercially aware and delivery-focused Senior Recruitment Specialist to strengthen our recruitment capability and drive consistent, high-quality placements.
Role Overview
The Senior Recruitment Specialist will manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple sectors while supporting outsourcing and client recruitment mandates. This role requires strong sourcing skills, structured recruitment execution, KPI-driven performance management, and a solid understanding of recruitment compliance and best practices.
The successful candidate will build sustainable talent pipelines, manage relationships with clients and candidates, and ensure excellence in recruitment delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple sectors.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for mid-level and specialist roles.
- Source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, headhunting, talent pools, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Screen CVs, conduct structured interviews, and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules and manage feedback loops.
- Maintain accurate candidate documentation, profiles, and recruitment records.
Outsourcing & Client Recruitment Delivery
- Deliver recruitment solutions aligned with client timelines and workforce needs.
- Work closely with internal teams to understand client requirements.
- Ensure timely placements and high client satisfaction.
- Provide recruitment advisory services to clients when required.
Candidate Database & Talent Pool Management
- Build and maintain structured and searchable talent databases.
- Develop sector-specific talent pools (IT, Finance, Healthcare, Education, Engineering, Customer Service, Operations, etc.).
- Implement candidate engagement strategies to ensure retention and availability.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain performance dashboards.
Compliance & Recruitment Best Practices
- Ensure recruitment activities align with UK and Nigerian employment laws, data protection (GDPR), and industry standards.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of candidate and client information.
- Promote fair recruitment practices and diversity & inclusion.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Develop and improve recruitment workflows and systems.
- Track key KPIs: time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, placement success rate, and client satisfaction.
- Recommend tools and innovations to improve recruitment efficiency.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and clients.
- Act as a trusted recruitment partner to outsourcing clients.
- Represent SEA-FAJ Consults professionally in all engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- General HR Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Human Resources or related roles
- Recruitment Experience: Minimum 2 years in agency or outsourcing recruitment, with proven full-cycle recruitment expertise
- Proven track record in full-cycle and specialist recruitment.
- Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment CRMs.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and compliance is an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
